Who says day time sequins is a faux pas? Well I broke all the rules for dinner with my girls. At first I thought of a casual fit with some gray denim but when my eyes caught the sequin all I could think of was "Why not?!'' I don't think in the past I would day sequin it up. But it was all yes with this collab. I paired it with a gray turtleneck and leather jacket with some black pumps. It felt wrong but who cares!
New Year... Hello to Me!
It was a rather quiet NYE for me this year. Usually there is a sexy dress, booze, and a regrettable hangover the very first day of the year. Now as appealing as that still sounds to the turn up queen, deep inside I was just moved for a more low key night. So I spent a still rather fun filled night of reflection, prayer, and thankfulness with friends and the boo.
My look was a bit more reserved. I paired the sheer printed top with some wide legged satin pants and black suede pumps. For a little bit of NYE's past, I glammed up the look a little with fur.
